Air Source Heat Pump & Central Heating System Installation Bournemouth

Our heating engineers recently completed a full central heating system installation for a four-bedroom property in Bournemouth, under the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS Grant). The home previously relied on an open vented hot water cylinder and inefficient electric storage heaters.

To modernise the system and reduce energy costs, we installed a 10kW Vaillant aroTHERM air source heat pump, giving a highly efficient and sustainable solution.

As part of this retrofit, the entire central heating infrastructure was newly installed. This included 11 radiators and pipework, carefully integrated into the existing layout to minimise disruption. To keep things simple yet efficient, the new setup was designed as a single heating zone, delivering consistent heat throughout the property.

To support the system, we fitted a Vaillant Unistor 250L HP cylinder, giving ample hot water for the customer's needs. A 70L volumiser was also added to optimise performance and system balance. The installation is controlled by Vaillant sensoCOMFORT, for user-friendly, intelligent control of heating and hot water schedules.

The client now enjoys a quiet, low-carbon, future-proofed heating system that is far superior in both function and sustainability compared to the old, outdated electric storage heaters.
