M.A.C. Engineers recently completed the installation of a Worcester Bosch 5000M multi-split air conditioning system at a property in Southampton, providing year-round comfort to four separate rooms.
The project involved installing a 10.5kW outdoor unit, connected to four Worcester Bosch CL3200i indoor units serving three bedrooms and a home office. The system allows each room to be heated or cooled independently, giving the homeowners complete control over their indoor environment regardless of the season.
To achieve a neat and discreet installation, all refrigerant pipework was routed externally before running vertically up the outside wall into the loft space. From there, the pipework was carefully dropped down into each room, minimising disruption to the property's interior while maintaining a clean finish.
Each indoor unit was fitted with a condensate pump concealed within the internal trunking, allowing water produced during cooling mode to be removed efficiently where gravity drainage was not possible. This ensured a tidy installation without compromising the appearance of the finished rooms.
The system is simple and convenient to operate. Every indoor unit comes with its own remote control, allowing individual temperature adjustments in each room. In addition, the entire system can be managed remotely using the Worcester Home app on a smartphone, enabling the homeowners to control their heating and cooling whether they're at home or away.
